Forestview is a wool upholstery fabric by Patricia Urquiola with a complex, tactile surface and an omnidirectional, multi-coloured pattern.troon that is reminiscent of alpine forests.
Inspired by patterns in tree structures, digitizes and recreates ForestView the grain of wood using advanced jacquard weaving techniques and a refined colour system.

This approach gives the textile a topographical surface of geometric, pine-like shapes, brimming with subtle movement. Patricia Urquiola: "Seen from above, a forest becomes abstract, a sea moved by the wind, irregularelmslow but rhythmic. Forestview captures this perspective and combines randomness with harmonious order – it is like a memory of nature, gecodeearth in structure."

The palette for Forestview includes a scala of colors, ranging from light to dark, where soft shades are combined with strong hues. Each colorway consists of five yarn colors, with a thicker yarn in the dominant shade giving the surface its primeairThe shade and thinner yarns in various colors create a vibrant depth. The effect is almost like a digitalized melange—when you look at the textile, you see striking dots of bright colors emerge from the "forest."
