Beschreibung

Mylla is a knitted upholstery fabric with a complex mottled surface, designed by Note Design Studio. The two fabrics, whichamen with their more outspoken brother Myr are made, form an attractive combination that offers unlimited possibilities within interiors. Mylla and Myr are the first Kvadrat Febrik-textiles made from 100% recycled polyester.

Note Design Studio took the idea from onregelmqualities, both in artificial and natural surfaces, as a starting point for Myr and Mylla: “We were looking for something imperfect, where the textile would seem a bit non-structural, just as material surfaces reveal their irregularities.elmto have advantages.

“We worked on many physical prototypes in the studio and sewed the stuffed fabric to test how the stitch placement affected the 'random' surface pattern.troon In Swedish, Mylla means "humus" (the organic matter in soil that results from the decomposition of plant matter), referring to such a non-structural surface that is imitated in the dotted surface of the textile. Mylla is made from specially developed recycled polyester yarn, made from used plastic bottles, and knitted in a double jacquard. This sameThe setting gives the fabric its matte appearance and soft touch. The core is made of a high-volume recycled polyester filling yarn, interrupted by non-directional stitches.

The colour palette for Mylla consists of ten colourways, each integrating two shades of the same colour to create the melange effect. Kvadrat Febrik: "With the approach of Note Design Studio as an interiorarchitects to work with textiles, open Myr and Mylla new possibilities for creative expression and they create samen in a space a spatial experience."

Mylla is suitable for all project and residential applications. It offers the multidirectional stretch inherent in knitted textiles, making it ideal for covering organic shapes. As a single-material, Mylla can be continuously recycled without loss of quality.
